- How far in advance can I book my airport transfers?
Our office normally requires 24 hours before your transfer date, if you have booked a transfers then you must receive a booking confirmation from a member of our staff, if you have not received please check your spam folder before calling us, transfer bookings must be confirmed within office hours, Monday to Friday 08.30 am to 13.30 pm & 17.00 pm to 7.30 pm, Saturdays from 09.00 am to 14.00 pm, Sundays we are closed, however if the transfer is on the same day feel free to call us on (+34) 677 441 628 we will do our best arrange a driver to pick you up, you can book online as a staff member is always checking emails so you will receive a reply from us.
- Are your rates fixed or do you charge more depending on the time of day?
All our prices are fixed rates no matter what time of the day you arrive at.
- Do you give discounts?
Yes, we offer all our clients a 5% discount of our price list for one way transfers or a 10% discount on return transfers no matter what your destination is.
- What do I do if the destination address is not on your price list?
If your destination is not listed on our tariffs we kindly ask you to send us a mail and we will be delighted to send you a private quote at the best possible rate.
- How do I pay?
With autosexi you do not have to worry about giving your credit card details over the internet, we do not require upfront payments to confirm your transfer. All transfer fares are pre arranged with you and the drivers ensuring a hassle free transfer and unpleasant surprises once you reach your holiday destination. The price that appears on the confirmed booking form is the final price. All transfers are to be paid in Euros to the driver once you arrive at your private home or holiday destination.
- Why are your prices cheaper than other companies?
We are not a broker or a transfer service provider like so many you comes across on internet, we are a private company that own our own vehicles this means we can provide low cost prices to all our clients, we do not have to pay commissions to third parties.
- Are your transfers private or can I share?
We only offer private transfers, the price you pay reserves the vehicle exclusively for you and your party.
- Are your transfers direct?
Yes, all our transfers are direct and door to door , if the drop off address is in a pedestrian street your driver will drop you off as close as possible, If you have booked a return the driver will inform the office of the exact location via Google map link and the assigned driver for the return pick up will meet you at the same location, if you have changed accommodation please inform the Autosexi office within normal office hours so that your driver can be informed, Our office numbers are: +34 677 441 628.
- How can I cancel or make amendments to my already booked transfer?
If you would like to make changes to your reservation or simply cancel, you can simply respond your original booking confirmation requesting changes or cancelation free of charge.
2. Vehicle & Driver
- Must I give the driver a tip?
Tips are voluntary, it all depends on how the driver has behaved, the drivers will accept happily.
- Do you provide child seats?
It is law in Spain that children travel with appropriate child seats for this reason we provide Both baby seats and booster seats they can easily be selected on our on-line reservation booking form, Please make sure to provide the age of your child so that our drivers can provide an adequate seat . We provide child seats for FREE. If you prefer you can also bring your own child seats.
- Are your vehicles insured?
All our vehicles are fully licensed and fully insured by the Spanish authorities, with passenger liability cover and strictly observe public license operating regulations. We take our passenger safety very seriously.
- How many passengers can travel in your vehicles?
If you have booked a standard size vehicle a maximum of four passengers can travel including small children who count as one passenger, this is due to insurance purposes, we also provide people carriers with seating capacity for up to 7 passengers + driver or mini buses from 8 to 20 passengers.
- How many cases fit in your vehicles?
If you have booked a standard size sedan or saloon vehicle you can fit 3 large cases+ hand luggage, if you have booked a people carrier you can carry 1 case+ 1 piece of hand luggage per person, please inform if you are travelling with excess luggage so we can provide a suitable vehicle, it is Illegal to travel with luggage within the transfer vehicle.
- Where will our driver be waiting once we have landed?
Once you have landed and collected your luggage from the baggage reclaim belt, and walk into the arrivals hall your Autosexi taxi or minibus driver will be waiting for you and your party holding on the right hand side holding an official sign with your lead passengers name clearly printed on it, beware of Illegal transfer companies that try to meet you outside of the designated area in the arrivals terminal, their vehicles are not be insured for passenger liability cover. You should remember that if stopped by the Police these Illegal operators would be confiscated immediately leaving you stranded. A vehicle that is licensed will be SP plated by the Spanish Authorities and you can always ask to see a copy of the Companies “Tarjeta de Transporte” license if you are concerned as they must have them inside the vehicle, Do not risk your vacation for a few Euros.
- If the flight is delayed what shall we do, do we have to pay more?
It is not unusual that flights are delayed especially in peak season, however All flights are constantly monitored by our drivers and If your flight is delayed there is no need to worry they will be aware of the delay and inform the office who will ensure that you have a driver waiting for you when you arrive at no matter what time you arrive at and at no extra cost.
- How long does the driver wait for us to clear customs?
The driver under normal circumstances waits for 60 minutes, which allows sufficient time to proceed from the plane to clear customs to the arrival hall, if you still have not arrived the driver will make enquiries with the flight company Only after all this and if there is still no sign of the passengers l the driver will leave the airport. If you are delayed in customs or baggage and you have provided a mobile telephone number, please ensure that it is switched on, as the head office may be trying to contact you. If you do not receive a call from us or you have not provided a mobile contact number on your reservation please contact our emergency number provided on your booking form to ensure that the driver waits for you.
4. The Transfer
- Do your drivers speak English?
Most of our drivers speak English; if you would like an English speaking driver do inform when reserving.
- Can we stop off at the supermarket on our way to our holiday resort?
Yes it is possible, as long as the office is informed previously, although this might not be possible at peak times – a supplement may be applicable depending on the stop time, a 15 minute stop for a standard size vehicle could cost about 10 Euros and 15 Euros for a people carrier.
- I need to collect keys before reaching my destination is it possible?
Providing the key collection is en-route, there will be no extra charge, if it is not en route please inform the office there may be a supplement.
- Can I go via the toll roads?
The Mediterranean motorway or A-7 runs along 161 kilometers of coastline from Malaga, in parallel to the old N-340, linking the coastal towns. When driving to certain locations in the Costa del Sol, there are two options the toll free road or the paid one, all transfer companies on the Costa del Sol choose the non toll roads the drive is normally a bit more than using the toll road but the views are great and it’s free! The A7 which is the western Costa del sol road divides itself into a toll road in some sections, this is known as the AP7.Where the A7 becomes a toll road your assigned driver will use the normal non-toll road known as the N340. If you would prefer to use the AP7 toll-road, please inform your assigned driver, you will be liable to pay the extra cost at each toll booth you come across.
- Can I smoke or drink in the Taxi or Minibus?
No, all our vehicles are Non smoking and drinking is totally prohibited unless it is water.
- I have a return transfer where will we meet your driver?
Your driver will meet you at your pre-arranged time and pick up point as confirmed on your booking.
